Sometimes I fall – a poem by Jenna Wysong Filbrun

Sometimes I fall

through
the notes
of a song

like light
through
a window

at this
bright peace
and thirst

this
alive
and fragile

cruel
and
deep

beauty
so good
I believe

in a place
I can’t quite
get to

somewhere
I already
am
