Five Haiku – poetry by Stephen C. Curro

frog chorus
tree shade
conceals my prayer

*

morning birdsongs
incense curls
over the altar

*

whispered prayers
stained glass
catches light

*

another day…
my prayers climb
with the rising sun

*

pondering God
the lake before me
clear as glass
