Dust and Ashes – a poem by Christine (C.L.) Fisher

Dust and Ashes

outgrowing
the confines
of my chest
my bone-shell
resonating
Heavenward
a knelling
of angels
stands between
me and morning
and I am fixed
on this one star
as I fall up into
the Splendid
gauzy edges
of faith
with my
daring laud
in a single
question
Why
God

Moved by words, trees, butterflies, art, music and all forms of truth expression,  Christine (C.L.)
