Seekers
we friends sit shaded
by the crab apple tree
when the bell is struck
three times we meditate,
each in our own way,
to song of breeze-blown traffic,
bumblebee, blackbird
the bell rings again
we open our eyes, bow,
share dharma and poems
discuss how they resonate
and comfort us seekers
but what are we seeking?
