Sparrow On Lilac Branch – a poem by Robert Daniel Smith

Sparrow On Lilac Branch

Way
transcendental-immanence
pleasure-of-moment
sacred-sight
living-universe-breath
mountain landscape
rivers flow
stones tumble
shining as the creatures
everything-in-touch
existing-as-one
like the hands
that shovel winter snow
that turn spring compost
that plant garden seeds
that hold the silent teacup
pleasantly attached
to the easy breath
